58774 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: Further to 52375 (2025), is the Ministry of Education accredited panel of asbestos service providers in place; if not, when it is anticipated to be?

Hon Erica Stanford: No. The accredited list of asbestos service providers is not yet in place. I am advised that the Ministry of Education expects the list to be implemented by 1 April 2026. The timeframe was extended to ensure schools have sufficient access to resources following the impact of the nationwide coloured sand issue.
