Hon Louise Upston: I monitor the impact and effectiveness of key initiatives through a variety of mechanisms. This includes considering the impact on different groups of families, such as low-income families. In the Child Poverty Reduction portfolio, I regularly monitor the progress of: • key agency initiatives that contribute towards the outcomes of the Child and Youth Strategy through the Child and Youth Strategy Action Plan • key Child and Youth Strategy indicators, including the Child Poverty Related Indicators, through the Child and Youth Strategy Annual Report.
