58713 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: What have been the main categories of reasons for “No Board” directives issued to travellers attempting to use the visa-waiver travel pathway from Australia for Chinese and Pacific Islands Forum country nationals?
Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the main categories of reasons for a “Do Not Board” directive being issued to travellers under the visa-waiver trial are; an active alert on the customer’s record in the immigration system, not holding an eligible Australian visa required under the visa-waiver trial or not holding a visa.
