58711 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: How many travellers holding an NZeTA and travelling under the visa-waiver travel pathway from Australia for Chinese and Pacific Islands Forum country nationals have been refused entry at the New Zealand border?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that as at 16 December 2025 there have been 2 instances of turnarounds (refused entry upon arrival) at the border.
