58710 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: What have been the primary reasons for refusal of entry for travellers attempting to enter under the visa-waiver travel pathway from Australia for Chinese and Pacific Islands Forum country nationals?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that any passenger that has been refused entry under this trial would be due to concerns around doubtful bona fides or not meeting Immigration New Zealand's character instructions.
