58501 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: How much, if any, has the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted on christmas, holiday, end of year, and any other types of celebratory functions or parties during November and December in 2025?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. With regard to Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that Tourism New Zealand has budgeted $5,130.00 for November and December in 2025. The budget in 2025 reflects the new budget of $30 per head. While the budget per head was slightly higher in previous years, the full entitlement was not always utilised.
