58313 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the as at 16 September 2024, toward the recommendation ‘Co-design a kaupapa Māori accreditation programme for providers’ in Te Whatu Ora’s ‘BreastScreen Aotearoa Quality Improvement Action Plan’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that as of 16 September 2024, Health New Zealand was working with an organisation to undertake analysis and investigate options for a kaupapa Māori accreditation programme, as well as initiatives for recruitment, retention, cultural safety, and anti-racism training.
