58309 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the as at 16 September 2024, toward the recommendation ‘Consumer engagement plan (partner with HQSC)’ in Te Whatu Ora’s ‘BreastScreen Aotearoa Quality Improvement Action Plan’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that as of 16 September 2024, a Consumer and Whānau Voice team has been established within Health New Zealand, which is responsible for developing appropriate engagement frameworks for health services such as BSA. The BSA Programme intends to use the frameworks developed by the Consumer and Whānau Voice team.
