58295 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: How much, if any, has the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted on christmas, holiday, end of year, and any other types of celebratory functions or parties during November and December in 2025?

Hon Chris Penk: As per 2023 decisions, LINZ provided $15,000 to support staff wellbeing initiatives such as sports teams as well as social events, including the end of year functions held in Hamilton, Christchurch and Wellington. The LINZ contribution was used towards food and non-alcoholic beverages at the end-of-year functions. The spend for other types of celebratory functions in November and December in 2024 was $236.20 for long service awards.
