Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the agreement contained provisions typical of confidentiality undertakings, such as holding information in secure ways, not disclosing information without prior written consent and not using information for alternate purposes. I am further advised that, as of 20 September, staff who signed confidentiality agreements relating to financial pressures have been released from the agreements, as the purpose for which they were used no longer applies. I am also advised that no staff faced any investigation or disciplinary action related to the agreement, and no record was kept of anyone who chose not to sign.
