Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education’s total expenditure for end of year events in November and December 2021 was $41,808 excluding GST. This reflected a budget of $20 per head. Education New Zealand and New Zealand Qualifications Authority did not fund any end of year events in November and December 2021. The Education Review Office’s total expenditure for end of year events for November and December 2021 was $5,900 including GST. This reflects $25 per a fixed and permanent employee, as per ERO’s policy.
