Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: Alongside the “range of agencies and stakeholders” referenced in 4411 (2024), were the Gloriavale leavers or participants in the All of Government Response to the Gloriavale Christian Community consulted prior to the Minister making the decision not to continue this group?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The Cabinet mandate for the all-of-government response established by the previous Government ended on 31 December 2023. The views of Gloriavale community leadership were referred to in paragraph 35 of the advice I received on the all-of-government response. The advice has been released under the Official Information Act and is published on the MSD website: https://www.msd.govt.nz/documents/about-msd-and-our-work/publications-resources/official-information-responses/2024/march/28032024-all-correspondence-sent-and-received-by-the-ministry-by-the-ministry-27-november-2023-in-regards-to-gloriavale-christian-community.pdf. There is no reference to the views of Gloriavale leavers.
