58092 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Will the Minister and his office work collaboratively with the Labour Party to create safety regulations for corded window coverings?

Hon Andrew Bayly: Under section 29 of the Fair Trading Act 1986, product safety standards are made by the Governor-General on the recommendation of the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. However, I am happy to review any suggestions from the Labour Party.
