Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Children: How much, if any, has the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted on christmas, holiday, end of year, and any other types of celebratory functions or parties during November and December in 2025?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised Oranga Tamariki policy provides a contribution of up to $20 inclusive of GST per employee, excluding contractors and consultants, towards end of year celebrations. I am further advised by Oranga Tamariki that there is no specific budget for Christmas, holiday, end of year, and other types of celebratory functions or parties.
