58037 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What percent, if any, of Oranga Tamariki contracts with community service providers for the financial year 2024/2025 been agreed, as of 12 September 2024?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga that approximately: • 70% of contracts are completed/current or expired (since 1 July 2024) • 17% are drafted and awaiting signing by providers and/or Oranga Tamariki • 13% are in the process of being drafted, varied, peer-reviewed and/or quality checked. Note that contracting figures will fluctuate, both up and down, through the course of the financial year due to such factors as new contracts being drafted, multi-year contracts being varied, and transition plans being confirmed.
