58031 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Agriculture: How much, if any, has the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted on christmas, holiday, end of year, and any other types of celebratory functions or parties during November and December in 2025?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) does not allocate a budget for celebratory functions or parties during November and December. In line with MPI’s Sensitive Expenditure Policy, a subsidy of up to $20 (GST inclusive) per person may be provided to cover costs such as food and non-alcoholic beverages for one end of year function, for example, a Christmas celebration.
