Ingrid Leary to the Associate Minister of Health: Does the Minister agree with Aged Care Association chief executive Tracey Martin that family members, who are already caring for elderly family members, could be supported by the government to get training and get those hours recognised towards a qualification; if so, what, if anything, will she do to address this?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that training opportunities that build towards a qualification are already supported by government.
