57983 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What advice, if any, has the Minister received since 1 September 2024 on the relationship between double-bunking levels and the incidence of serious violence in prisons, broken down by prison site?

Hon Mark Mitchell: While I have not received specific advice on the relationship between double-bunking levels and the incidence of serious violence in prisons, I have regular discussions with Correction officials and receive advice and updates on a range of matters, including via meetings and my weekly report.
