57929 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Statistics: What are the holiday shut down dates, if any, for the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, during the 2025-26 holiday period?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Stats NZ head offices close at 1pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025 and reopen on Wednesday 7 January 2026. However, reduced survey activities by collections staff will be undertaken over this period.
