57910 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: How much has been spent on Chief Executive redundancy payments and payments in lieu of notice, if any, in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, since 27 November 2023, detailed by chief executive role, payment amount and period?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that, as the Member will be aware, remuneration to the Director-General of the Ministry of Health is disclosed through annual reporting on the Public Service Commission’s website. Health New Zealand has not made any redundancy payments in lieu of notice, to any Chief Executives, since November 2023.
