57893 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Growth: What are the holiday shut down dates, if any, for the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, during the 2025-26 holiday period?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised that the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) does not have a closedown period, as defined by the Holidays Act 2003. However, with a reduced demand for a number of MBIE’s services and teams, staff are encouraged to take time off during the period 25 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 (inclusive). I am advised that New Zealand Growth Capital Partners’ offices will be closed between 25 December 2025 to 7 January 2026 (inclusive).
