57885 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Vocational Education: What are the holiday shut down dates, if any, for the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, during the 2025-26 holiday period?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) will observe the statutory public holidays over the Christmas and New Year period. TEC will be closed from midday Wednesday 24 December 2025 to Friday 2 January 2026 and normal business operations will resume on Monday 5 January 2026.
