57872 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Public Service: How many contractors, if any, did the Minister's departments have on 27 November 2023?

Hon Nicola Willis: Although the number of contractors is not collected, I refer the member to the workforce data and contractor and consultant expenditure data that Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission publishes quarterly on their website at the following link: Workforce Data - Workforce size - Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission The next workforce data and contractor and consultant expenditure data release is the annual data set as at 30 June 2024. This data is currently being finalised for the scheduled release on 10 October 2024
