57856 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology: What are the holiday shut down dates, if any, for the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, during the 2025-26 holiday period?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I have been advised that the holiday period will vary for each agency, Crown entity, and other bodies under the Science, Innovation and Technology portfolio. While PHF Science will remain operational due to urgent forensic and public health requirements, other bodies are expected to observe a holiday shutdown generally falling between 19 December 2025 and 7 January 2026.
