57851 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many contractors, if any, did the Minister's departments have on 9 September 2024; and how many of them, if any, were former employees of the department that lost their roles or resigned from their roles since 27 November 2023?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that the Department of Internal Affairs (Department) had 71 contractors on 9 September 2024. I am also advised that the Department does not collect the personal information of contractors to enable the identification of a previous employee. I am therefore unable to provide the number of former employees that were working as contractors on 9 September 2024.
