57849 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: How many contractors, if any, did the Minister's departments have on 9 September 2024; and how many of them, if any, were former employees of the department that lost their roles or resigned from their roles since 27 November 2023?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora advise me that as at the end of August 2024, it had a total of 75 consultants and contractors. Of them, one is a former employee. Figures for the month of September are currently not available. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development had 3 contractors on 31 August 2024. None of these contractors were previous employees of the Ministry.
