57839 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: How many contractors, if any, did the Minister's departments have on 9 September 2024; and how many of them, if any, were former employees of the department that lost their roles or resigned from their roles since 27 November 2023?

Hon Nicola Willis: On 9 September 2024 the Treasury had 2 contractors. Neither of these were former employees that lost their roles or resigned from their roles since 27 November 2023. I am advised that as at 9 September 2024 the Reserve Bank of New Zealand – Te Pūtea Matua (RBNZ) had 69 contractors engaged. None of these contractors were former employees that lost their roles or resigned from their roles since 27 November 2023.
