57829 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Development: How many contractors, if any, did the Minister's departments have on 9 September 2024; and how many of them, if any, were former employees of the department that lost their roles or resigned from their roles since 27 November 2023?

Hon Melissa Lee: I am advised that the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment engaged 85 contractors as of 31 August 2024. None of these contractors have been identified as a previous permanent employee between 30 Nov 2023 and 31 Jul 2024.
