Hon Judith Collins: The number of contractors working at the Ministry of Defence on 27 November 2023 can be found on the Parliament website as part of the Ministry’s 2023/24 Estimates Review for the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Select Committee: https://www.parliament.nz/en/pb/sc/scl/foreign-affairs-defence-and-trade/ As at 27 November 2023, the New Zealand Defence Force had 1,466 contractors.
