57819 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: How many contractors, if any, did the Minister's departments have on 9 September 2024; and how many of them, if any, were former employees of the department that lost their roles or resigned from their roles since 27 November 2023?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that its systems are not currently configured to enable recording and collecting of information of staff who were previously employed permanently and may have been re-employed as consultants or contractors. Work will be undertaken during the 2024/25 financial year to assess how this information may best be collected.
