57816 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What are the holiday shut down dates, if any, for the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, during the 2025-26 holiday period?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand's last working day of the year will be Wednesday 24 December 2025. They will resume operations on Monday 5 January 2026. Some staff will remain on-call during this timeframe to respond to work health and safety incidents, should they occur.
