57695 (2024). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How much has been spent on consultants for the investigation into the Wellington Long Tunnel option, since November 2023?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as at 31 August 2024, NZTA has spent $1,627,392 on consulting services related specifically to the investigative work for the long tunnel option. The investigation costs are funded through the National Land Transport Fund.
