Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister accept the Grocery Commissioner's analysis in his Annual Grocery Report of 4 September 2024 that "a third nationwide network competing to consumer’s main grocery shop is an appropriate target at this point. That outcome would be materially better for competition and for consumers"?

Hon Andrew Bayly: I want to see greater competition in the grocery sector, including additional competitors entering or expanding in the market to compete with the supermarket duopoly.
