57644 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: What are the holiday shut down dates, if any, for the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, during the 2025-26 holiday period?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury's holiday shutdown dates for the 2025-26 holiday period are from the afternoon of 24 December 2025 to 2 January 2026. The office will reopen on 5 January 2026. The RBNZ offices will be closed from midday 24 December and will reopen on 5 January. For the Government Superannuation Fund Authority (GSFA) and the Board of Trustees of the National Provident Fund (NPF), executive services are provided by Annuitas Management Limited (Annuitas). Annuitas’ office is shut down from 5pm on Friday 19th December 2025 to 8am on Monday 5 January 2026. A couple of Annuitas staff will be on standby to deal with any issues that might arise during the shutdown period. Member facing services for both GSFA and NPF will continue to be provided by the Schemes Administrator (Datacom) up to and including 24 December 2025. For the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation, I am advised nil. I am advised the Natural Hazards Commission (NHC) offices will close at midday on Friday, 19 December 2025 and will reopen on Monday, 5 January 2026.
