57593 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Climate Change: What are the holiday shut down dates, if any, for the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, during the 2025-26 holiday period?

Hon Simon Watts: As it relates to the Ministry for the Environment, I am advised the Ministry for the Environment will close on the afternoon of 19 December 2025 and will reopen on Monday 5 January 2026. The Commission's holiday shut down dates during the 2025-26 holiday period are from 29 to 31 December.
