57567 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage: What are the holiday shut down dates, if any, for the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, during the 2025-26 holiday period?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that the departments, agencies, and Crown entities that I am responsible for have the following shut down dates: Ministry for Culture and Heritage (25 December 2025 – 4 January 2026) Creative New Zealand (25 December 2025 – 4 January 2026) New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (20 December 2025 – 4 January 2026) New Zealand Film Commission (25 December 2025 – 4 January 2026) Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga (25 December 2025 – 4 January 2026 ) Te Papa is closed to the public on Christmas day but does not have a shutdown period.
