57475 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Space: What percentage, if any, of operators of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure (GBSI) have applied for a GBSI activity authorisation since 29 July 2025?

Hon Judith Collins: No operators have applied for a GBSI activity authorisation. Since 29 July 2025, the regime has been in a transitional period where anyone operating GBSI in New Zealand is automatically considered authorised.
