57466 (2025). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Social Investment: How does the Minister define “success” in the Social Investment portfolio, and what indicators are currently being tracked to measure it?
Hon Nicola Willis: Success in the Social Investment portfolio can be defined as achieving better long-term outcomes for people and communities by using data and evidence to guide decisions, investing in what works, and improving system performance. Success means shifting resources toward early interventions that deliver measurable impact and reduce disadvantage over time. Measures are set out in the SIA Strategic Intentions and the Estimates for Vote Social Investment.
