57464 (2025). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Social Investment: Has the Minister commissioned any evaluations, cost–benefit analyses, or longitudinal studies on the outcomes of existing social investment programmes; if so, which ones?

Hon Nicola Willis: To date, a total of ten initiatives have been selected for funding through the Social Investment Fund pathway one, three demonstrator initiatives, and seven new initiatives. None of these initiatives have yet reached the evaluation stage, but each initiative either is or will be subject to an outcomes-based agreement specifying how intended outcomes will be measured and what will constitute success.
