56877 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to WPQ 55130 (2025), is Lansdowne to Kuripuni Cycle Facilities located within the electorate of any Minister involved in decision-making on the project, if so, did that Minister seek Cabinet Office advice or delegate responsibilities in accordance with the Cabinet Manual?

Hon Chris Bishop: In the context of WPQ 55130 (2025) and the withdrawal of CERF funding, Ministerial decisions and approvals for the Transport Choices Programme sat with the Minister of Transport and Finance Minister. While some projects were located in electorates held by current or past Ministers of Transport or Finance, these ministers did not hold their Ministerial posts when the decision on the final Transport Choices package was announced.
