56613 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many plants, broken down by species or type, have been hired by each entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, and what were the suppliers and locations for each installation, broken down by month?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that the Ministry had several contracts for the supply of hire plants across all offices for the period indicated. From January 2024 the Ministry began to reduce the number of plants in offices up until May 2025 when all contracts where ended. The Ministry is unable to provide information on species or type as this was not specified as part of the contracts. The Ministry is also unable to provide a month-by-month breakdown by location due to this information not being centralised.
