56554 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Has the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development considered leasing the 30 vacant flats in its complex in Wellesley Road in Napier to a Community Housing Provider and if not, why not?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development is not currently contemplating a long-term lease of the homes as I understand that the Ministry is currently seeking to sell the homes to a Community Housing Provider.
