56549 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Housing: What is the total spending on the hiring of plants by entities for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by month?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and Kāinga Ora advises me that this information is not recorded in a way that allows them to easily extract this data. To collate the data to the level of detail requested, The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and Kāinga Ora would have to divert personnel from their core duties to provide the information sought by the Member. I consider that the time and expense of answering the Member’s questions is not in the public interest
