Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 toward implementing the recommendation ‘Update documents, including policies, standard operating procedures and manuals, to support smooth knowledge transfer’ under ‘Recommendations for HealthCERT and other stakeholders’ in the ‘Ngā Paerewa Implementation Evaluation’ independent report?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that no progress was made toward this recommendation in the quarter April to June 2024. This has been identified as multiple internal projects to be undertaken. Policies and procedures will be prioritised for update and completed incrementally, however this work will not have an end date, as policies and procedures require review and updating on a regular basis.
