56503 (2025). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Associate Minister of Education: Further to her answer to written question 55013 (2025): is she concerned that the Ministry of Education is unable to inform her whether they have recieved any reports of concern regarding this particular individual?

Hon David Seymour: Agencies may be limited in the information they can provide Ministers within the timeframes associated with written parliamentary questions. This does not mean I am uninformed. I do not expect to be informed of all complaints received by the Ministry of Education. Operational matters are the responsibility of the Secretary of Education. However, I receive updates when necessary, under a ‘no surprises’ policy. If further information is required, my office has processes in place to request it.
