56494 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 on the proposed action ‘as part of the acute flow framework, outline minimum expectations and develop a kite of resources to support great whanau experience across the acute care journey. This includes consideration of the Manaaki Mana Strategy’ under ‘Strategic Priority Area 1: Implementing national frameworks, guidelines and terminology’ within Te Whatu Ora’s ‘Acute Care Plan 2024’?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to assess recommended equity frameworks to drive equity approaches across acute flow improvement activities. This including learning from regions and districts as implemented pro-equity initiatives in acute flow and emergency departments, with a view to identifying options for scaling those initiatives more broadly.
