56493 (2025). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Associate Minister of Education: Further to his answer to written question 55027 (2025): has he taken any actions upon becoming aware of the Bangerz Education and Wellbeing Trust’s application to convert Kelston Boys High School into a Charter School?

Hon David Seymour: Corrected reply: I did not take any action as it is not appropriate for me to be involved in the application process. I did, however, seek assurance from both the Charter School Authorisation Board and the Charter School Agency that the application would be assessed within reasonable timeframes, given the level of community interest. I also received regular updates so that I could remain informed in accordance with the no surprises convention.
