Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 on the proposed action ‘all Districts have District, regional and national acute care accountability mechanisms in place by the end of February 2024’ under ‘Strategic Priority Area 2: Leadership and accountability’ within Te Whatu Ora’s ‘Acute Care Plan 2024’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that acute care accountability mechanisms were implemented during the April to June 2024 quarter, and as a result, this action is now completed.
