Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 on the proposed action ‘work with People & Communications to develop an enhanced plan to support acute care delivery, including immediate retention initiatives and longer-term pipe-line strategies’ under ‘Strategic Priority Area 4: Establish high performing ‘teams of teams’’ within Te Whatu Ora’s ‘Acute Care Plan 2024’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that workforce actions addressing acute care needs will be addressed by the Health Workforce Plan 2024 – 2027.
