Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 on the proposed action ‘develop a national guideline for baseline IOC functions for Districts and Regions’ under ‘Strategic Priority Area 5: Driving operational improvement’ within Te Whatu Ora’s ‘Acute Care Plan 2024’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the national escalation framework was finalised during the April to June 2024 quarter, together with the agreed definitions and principles for IOCs. As a result, this action is now completed.
